About Me
Who am I?
I'm Will. I do a lot of things aside from scouting, like playing cricket and I'm also a drummer. I enjoy doing a lot of these things, like cricket and scouting, because of how I get to work with other people in teams and do and create really interesting things. Part of the reason I signed myself up for the jamboree was to meet all these people from all around the world, and be able to find out about how they do things, and share ideas.
My scouts
I'm from 101st Church Crookham scout group. I'm also currently a Patrol Leader there, meaning I'm in charge of a patrol, which one of the groups our scouts is split into. I was the only one from our group that applied to go on this trip, and I'm glad I did. I believe that it will be a really fun and interesting experience for me and everyone else that has decided to go.
Why did I sign up for the jamboree?
I signed up for the jamboree for a number of reasons, aside from just being able to go to Poland. I signed up so that I could meet people from all over the world, who are like me, and have applied for this and been commited enough to raise all of the money to go. I would also love to learn more about all of the different cultures, and I'm sure that if I didn't sign up now, I'd never be able to do something as amazing as this. Already from the selection weekend I went on, I've managed to meet all sorts of people, and I've even made friends with people I never would have met otherwise.
